CELTIC BEATIrish Step-Dance Team CELTIC BEAT is a 14 member Irish Step-Dance troupe comprised of dancers ages 8 thru 18 years of age. Our program consists of soft-shoe and hard shoe in reel and jig rhythm. CELTIC BEAT has performed at the Dickens Festival, The Scottish Festival, and various community and church shows thru-out the area. They performed August 7th for Pax T.V. at Dinosaur Park in Ogden, August 13th in the Kenley Ampitheater in Layton with SHANAHY and again for Talent in the Park series at the Rose Garden the SHANAHY, KIRKMOUNT, and KATE McCloud. They have trained with Joanne Evans of RIVERDANCE, Jack McArdle of the MCARDLE IRISH SCHOOL in Connecutt, and Mollie Bennet, a certified Irish teacher from Colorado. They are a fresh young group of dancers trained in ballet, jazz and tap and some of the members have danced in the Ballet West Nutcracker.
